Married to Karen who is a senior matron for community midwifery . I have two step sons Thomas who is studying medicine at Bart’s and the London & James who lives with his partner in Buxton..

Hobbies

Love caravanning especially around Europe, walking especially in Switzerland and being out and about in the country side also following F1.

Work History

In 2007 I founded Fun on Wheels UK Quad Bike & Buggy safaris in the Bury St Edmunds area. At the same time, an invitation to become an Instructor for the European ATV Safety Institute (EASI) led to the self-discovery of a passion for teaching and a desire to pass on solid knowledge and driving skills to the next generation of drivers. A qualified Approved Driving Instructor with many years driving LGV Class 1 vehicles and towing trailers, I am an experienced class B + E trailer towing tutor also a Health & Safety Instructor for the NTTA.

Company

I am a qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) of the Driving Standards Agency and a member of the Driving Instructors Association (DIA), ADINJC. I have been graded as ROSPA 'Gold’ advanced driver and I am also a ROSPA advanced instructor. I I regularly attend Continual Professional Development opportunities to maintain up to date knowledge and high standards of coaching skills.

NTTA

Been a member of the NTTA from around 2015, and started to get more involved with the health and safety for towing courses and developing a QS accreditation. Joined the Council this year with a passion to improve the awareness, knowledge and understanding of health and safety and further improve the public awareness of safe towing.
