Work History

I have been an ADI for 13 years and a trailer/caravan instructor for 10 of those years. In my own business I offer 1-2-1 caravan and motorhome confidence building courses plus visit businesses offering training and assessment of team members who are required to tow a trailer as part of their duties. I have worked for several companies, but my two largest contracts have been with Barcham Trees, Ely and Shadwell Estate in Thetford.

Company

I am also a Lead Instructor with The Camping and Caravanning Club. I have been an instructor for 10 years and a Lead for 7 of those years. I am instrumental in the design and delivery of the courses. I have written the curriculum documents for all the courses the Club provides which includes lesson plans and routes. My other duties include recruiting/mentoring new instructors, running the courses, assisting with the planning and staffing of the courses, providing knowledge and advice to office-based staff, attending meetings and speaking on stage on the Club stand at the NEC Caravan and Motorhome Show

NTTA

Everything I do always comes back to safety. My mission is to make trailer towing safer through education. I would like the opportunity to be a part of the NTTA who strive for this every day. I believe I have the skill set, experience and professional connections to make a positive contribution to the work of the NTTA.
